INSPIRATION IS ATMOSHPERIC
Poppy always had a camera in his hand; persistent in trying to capture as many family photos as he could collect.
The moment I started to use the Polaroid gifted to me from my Grandfather, I understood the desire to document the connection of the people around me.
I became enamored by this idea. That I could have a memory or feeling, depicted in visual form.
There are few things more important in life than the relationships we have with others.
Seeing a wedding day through this perspective, I draw inspiration from its atmosphere. Hearing, seeing, and feeling who and what's around me; understanding human interactions and dynamics, thus allowing me to produce photos from exploratory and intangible perspectives while encapsulating emotions and moments that take you back to a particular time and place.
Photographs are my absolute favorite mementos, so finding a photographer that understood our personality and creative vision was a top priority for documenting our wedding. Rebecca was recommended to us by a friend and I've never been more thankful to be connected with someone. The way she interprets moments and captures raw emotion is pure gold. My husband and I have always been awkward in front of a lens, but Rebecca made us feel like posing and being fancy was perfectly normal. She encouraged us every step of the way, allowing us to be ourselves, laughing and loving through it all. Rebecca fully embraced our elegant, but offbeat wedding turning moments into works of art.
