As Seen On

From Bridal Musings:

“We should start a running list here on all the beyond amazing chateau wedding venues available in North America. I swear, it was just a year ago that I was lamenting to an engaged French friend envious of her endless castle venue options – and yet we’ve received so many stunning royal-worthy wedding venues in the US and Canada in the past few months I’ve totally eaten my words.

Take, for example, the Cairnwood Estate – located in Pennsylvania, this stunning estate features manicured grounds, a grand castle-like manor and totally royal vibes. Styled by Polka Dot Events & captured on film by du soleil photographie, this Cairnwood editorial proves yet again, you can plan a royal wedding here in the states.

This fine art inspiration is particularly luxurious thanks to a sophisticated color palette. Burgundy and blue contrast sweetly with splashes of blackberry and currant throughout the florals and tablescape. The scene is mostly vintage, with antique looking watercolor invites & ornate crockery while trendy King Protea florals and a sexy backless gown bring us rightly into 2019.”

From the Planner, Allie of Polka Dot Events:

“Even in the fall, Cairnwood’s bright and open estate is alive with color and greenery unlike any other. Lush gardens and bubbling fountains welcome visitors into the historic, light-filled mansion and onto their terrace overlooking expansive grounds. This juxtaposition of Cairnwood’s brightness with the moodiness of fall is what created this gorgeous wedding inspiration shoot. Our design pays homage to the beautiful landscape while using pops of a moody color palette, reminiscent of the colors of autumn in Philadelphia.

We collaborated with du soleil photographie and Robertson’s Florals on the design and execution of the day. After over 85 years of weddings and events, we are so honored that Robertson’s chose to work with us for their first ever styled shoot. They created incredible, overflowing florals for the bouquet and tablescapes, and brought in our delightful table settings and majestic lounge area. Maggpie Rentalsimpressed with a reception table elegantly adorned with delicate open back dining chairs coupled with a touch of mint porcelain that picked up the original color of the vintage furniture as well as of the invitation suite.

Besides all the setups, we loved Priscilla Costa‘s trumpet silhouette gown with a plunging neckline and low open back that compliment the bride’s beautiful features without going over the top. To complete the bridal look, L. Priori selected diamond pieces in rose gold that offered just a touch of the charming Art Deco era.”
