Even before it was known to the world that Luke was in the picture, I had known Ettie through her always amazing calligraphy & stationary design work...she designed my logo!! We had collaborated on many styled shoots and when her engagement news broke, I secretly wished that I could capture her wedding day. Needless to say, when she asked if I could do just that, I was over the moon!

Ettie is known for beautiful romantic ethereal calligraphy and stationary design, and so when she decided to host her wedding at FAME - a clean minimalist industrial wedding venue, I was intrigued and beyond excited to see how she would transform the venue with her signature soft and airy aesthetics. The result is nothing short of beauty and balance - a beautiful mix of bold dark accents and clean lines with delicate dimensional decor details and textures: black and white invitation suite on deckled edge stationary, wispy greeneries and florals against equilateral features of the space, etc. She definitely inspired a new way to meld together romantic details and industrial character.

To make sure their guests are wired up for all the dancing, the Bride & Groom invited Caphe Roasters to come in and brew delicious caffeinated beverages for their guests! Instead of take-away favors, the couple opted for scrumptious Weckerly's mini ice cream sandwiches.

All details aside, my favorite part of Ettie and Luke's wedding was their soul-gripping first look and vow exchange: many heart-melting moments, many laughters and so much to treasure for a life time.
